Proximity Nutrition explains here how information is handled when you browse our store, place an order, contact us, subscribe to email updates, or choose an optional service.

Information we collect

• Orders and checkout: information you provide to complete a purchase, including your name, email, billing and delivery addresses, items ordered, and transaction details. Payment information is processed through Shopify checkout and the payment services used for your transaction.
• Contact requests: your email address, message, and the name you choose to provide. The name field is optional. Sending a contact request does not subscribe you to marketing emails.
• Email updates: your email address when you choose to subscribe, together with your subscription choices.
• Store activity: information needed to operate and protect the store, such as device and browser details, IP address, cart activity, and interactions with store features. Additional activity information may be processed by optional features you use or integrations enabled for the store.

How information is used

We use information to process and deliver orders, provide customer support, handle returns and privacy requests, maintain transaction records, prevent fraud, and operate the store. We use subscription information to send the email updates you request. Optional analytics or marketing uses depend on the services enabled and your applicable choices.

Service providers and optional features

Our store is hosted on Shopify. Information is handled by Shopify and service providers needed for functions such as payment processing, delivery, store security, and email. Shopify also processes some information for its own purposes, as explained in the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy. Shopify and its providers may process information outside your state or outside the United States.

Our store includes a GOVX integration that may connect to GOVX when a page loads and transmit technical information such as your IP address and browser details. Submitting information for an eligibility check remains your choice. GOVX explains its handling of information in its privacy notice. Review the information requested in the verification flow before continuing.

YouTube and Vimeo videos displayed with a Load video control connect to the selected provider only after you activate that control. The provider may then process device and viewing information under its own policy: Google/YouTube or Vimeo. Loading a video does not subscribe you to email marketing or save a general marketing preference.

We may disclose information when required by law or when reasonably necessary to address fraud, protect rights, or respond to a valid legal request.

Your choices and privacy requests

Use the store's Cookie preferences control to manage optional preferences, analytics, and marketing selections. The Cookie Policy explains these controls. You can stop promotional emails through the unsubscribe link in an email or by contacting us. Necessary order and service messages may still be sent.

Depending on your state and which laws apply, you may have rights to access or obtain a copy of your information, correct or delete it, or opt out of sale, sharing, or targeted advertising. Other rights, including use of an authorized agent or an appeal, may apply. Email orders@proximitynutrition.com with your request. For an appeal, identify the request and explain why you are asking us to reconsider. We may need information to verify an access, correction, or deletion request. We will not discriminate against you for exercising rights protected by applicable law.

You may also use a supported browser's Global Privacy Control signal or contact us directly with an opt-out request.

Retention and updates

Information is retained for the purposes for which it is needed, including completing orders, supporting customers, maintaining records required by law, preventing fraud, and resolving disputes. The appropriate period depends on the information, its purpose, and applicable obligations.

We may update this notice when our practices change. The version published on our website explains the practices described at that time.
